Japanese spinach seasoning with a sesame dressing commonly serves as a side dish. It tastes a little sweet and have very nice aroma of sesame. I found the original recipe is a little too sweet for me so I prefer making myself less sweet.
Ingredients (2 servings)
200g Spinach
2 Tablespoons Roasted black sesame seeds
1Tablespoon Soy sauce
1/2 Tablespoon Sugar

- Wash the spinach well and boil it into the boiling water for one to two minutes.
- Remove the spinach and soak in the ice water until cool.
- Drain and remove the excess water by squeezing the spinach.
- Cut the spinach into 2 inch sizes and set aside.
- Grain the sesame and mix well with the remaining ingredients to make dressing.
- Pour the dressing on the spinach and mix well with hand.
- Serve immediately.
