Japanese Pork Cutlet is very well known dishes. Tonkatsu is typically served with rice and miso soup. It is also very popular to serve with curry rice and on a bowl of rice with egg known as Katsudon. Recently it also serves as Tonkatsu Sandwich and popular among young.
Ingredients (2 servings)
2 Tenderloin Pork (1.5 cm thick)
1 egg
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
2 Tablespoons All purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Shred cabbage
Sauce
3 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon of Ketchup
Preparation:

2 Tablespoons All purpose flour

Preparation:
- Cut the edge of the pork especially fatty part to prevent from shrinkage
- Slightly pound the pork slices
- Season with salt and pepper
- Beaten one egg, prepare the flour and bread crumb as shown above
- Dust the pork slices with all purpose flour then dip into the beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs and slightly press on both sides to cover well.
- Deep fry the pork in 170C oil for a few minutes.
- Turn over until it becomes golden brown.
- Set aside to drain the oil.
- Serve with shred cabbage and sauce.
