Asian Kebab



Asian Kebab is a healthy kebab using minced pork and tofu with a lot of Asian herbs simply goes well with sweet chilly sauce. Good for starter and snack. The recipe is adopted from Kurihara Harumi's recipe. I often cook following her recipe because the recipe is easy and  the taste is perfectly fit my taste.OK let's get started.


Ingredients ( 2 servings) for 8 pieces

100g minced pork or chicken
1/2 pack of cotton tofu
2 tablespoons of chopped carrot 
2 tablespoons of chopped onion
1 tablespoon of chopped mint leaves
1 tablespoon of chopped coriander
1 tablespoon of chopped  spring onion
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of oil

Garnish
mint leaves
coriander leaves
lemon
lettuce
sweet chilli sauce

1. Ingredients: Drain the water out from tofu with kitchen paper, keep it for at least 10 minutes.


2. Put all the ingredients ( except tofu)  in a big bowl, mix well, add tofu at this point and little salt. Mix again well and shape to the oval shape.
3. Ready to grill
4. Heat the oil, grill it in a medium heat, cover with the lid and grill until becoming well cook. It takes 4 minutes to cook each side. Take it out and serve with the fresh herbs and sweet chili sauce. Put it on a skewer if you want.
